He’s more than your fitness instructor. During your stay, Mitchell Wendling will make sure you’re moving well, exercising effectively, and most of all -- having fun. Mitchell is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, which is considered the gold standard for strength and conditioning/sports performance training, and incredibly difficult to attain.
Mitchell’s background is in teaching weight training classes to help athletes understand movement patterns and exercise technique. He played collegiate basketball for four years, is the coveted middle child of three, and loves playing disc golf in his free time.
Mitchell says: “I like working with the guests at Skyterra because it's fun to show them what they are capable of doing. When someone's eyes light up or they smile because of the weight that he/she lifted, or they execute an exercise that they thought they couldn't do, it brings joy to my heart and reminds me why I enjoy fitness so much.”
