Peter Brinckerhoff

Executive Chef

Peter brings more than 35 years of experience to Skyterra, with several varieties of cuisines. Most recently, he closed his personal chef business in Lake Tahoe to start a new chapter with his wife in beautiful Brevard, N.C. At Skyterra, Chef Peter applies his years of culinary experience to classical cooking techniques to create healthy, well-balanced food for our guests

Chef Brinckerhoff is also passionate about sustainable food practices within the community. As a former manager for Vail Resorts, he sat on the “Commitment to Zero” committee and contributed to many of the environmental programs that reduce carbon emissions. He also plans on sourcing food locally and promoting the farm to table movement in his current role at Skyterra.

Peter Says: “I like to make the world a better place to eat.  I’m able to do this by developing culinary talent, donating time in the community food programs, providing my sourdough bread to help feed people in need, and now I’m creating healthy well-balanced food to assist in healthier life styles.”
