Trudy’s personal interest in wellness and aging gracefully led her to explore Skyterra. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with a wide variety of guests and drawing inspiration from shared stories of struggles and successes in the area of health and fitness. Trudy values being part of an attentive staff that genuinely meets people where they are in their journey and equips them with the needed tools to continue thriving beyond their time at Skyterra.
In addition to her role at Skyterra Wellness, Trudy has worked in the fields of marketing and education. She has managed corporate and military accounts for an airline, coordinated school volunteers, organized summer reading camps and continues working with academically gifted students at a local charter school. While she has travelled and lived in many fascinating parts of the world she is happy to make her home in the breathtaking Western North Carolina Mountains with her husband, four sons and faithful hound.
Trudy says: “I love seeing the difference even one week at Skyterra Wellness makes in our guests. Whether exploring waterfalls, taking a vigorous hike, floating down a cool mountain river or just kicking back in a rocking chair and absorbing the stunning view, the setting offers ample opportunities to inhale fresh mountain air and exhale stress.”
