How to Breathe Like a Navy SEAL

Wellness Challenge Day 9

Welcome to the ninth day of your Wellness Challenge. Today’s challenge is to add a breathwork practice into your daily routine for as few as five to 10 minutes a day.

Follow along with Jeff Ford, Skyterra’s Executive Director, as he gives you two different daily breathwork options:

  1. Belly breathing: keep your hand on your belly to ensure breath originates using your diaphragm. Inhale for 4 counts through the nose, and exhale for 4 counts, also through the nose.
  2. Square breathing: breathe in for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 4, and pause for 4, all through the nose.
