Lead Yoga Instructor
Lyndsey is a yoga teacher, massage therapist, Qoya teacher and co-owner of the two Dobra Tearooms in the Asheville, NC area. Fluid and accessible, Lyndsey’s classes, workshops and retreats call for movement with breath and full-body awareness.
Whether teaching Qoya, restorative yoga, yoga nidra or tea meditation, Lyndsey provides a warm and loving environment that welcomes her students where they are. Her deep-rooted passion for the wisdom and innate resilience of the human body has fueled her work as a massage therapist for the past 11 years. It has also been the foundation of her yoga practice that began more than 23 years ago. In her own life, she has found movement to be the most direct way to connect deeply and honestly with her body. Her passion is to offer others the invitation to do the same.
Her professional achievements include her roles as a holistic life coach at The Shanti Collective, community herbalist at the Appalachian School of Herbalism and at Dobra Tea, and massage and bodywork therapist at Asheville School of Massage and Yoga. Additionally, Lyndsey has certification in yoga from Asheville Yoga Center as well as in Qoya and is a Reiki master. In 2017, she held an ambassadorship for the Rise as One Project in India to help support a school for girls.
