Caroline Craft

Dance Instructor

Caroline (Carrie) has been drawn to movement for as long as she can remember and loves helping guests at Skyterra find joy through expressive and rhythmical activity as well. Her background includes dancing with a professional ballet company where she performed in many classical and contemporary works. Following her career as a ballet dancer, she furthered her knowledge of human anatomy and biomechanics by earning her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Caroline spent 12 years as an acute care physical therapist, compassionately encouraging her patients to reach their highest movement potential amidst illness and emotional challenges. While working in healthcare and due to missing dance tremendously, she began studying ballroom dance, and after several years became an instructor to help others also experience the fulfillment dance has provided her. She is now delighted to have the opportunity to share her passion with Skyterra through fun classes for a range of abilities.

Caroline says: “All movement is great, but dancing is my favorite form of exercise because it’s filled with joy and self-expression. Not only does it promote better balance, coordination, memory and muscle conditioning, but it is also food for the soul.”
