Shalom Littrell

Shalom has worked with families and children since 2015. In her approach to therapy, she walks alongside Skyterra guests to examine relationship patterns and gain awareness of how to positively contribute to interpersonal effectiveness, establish meaningful connections and to work on setting appropriate boundaries with self and others.

Shalom is an LCSW-A and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a focused approach to treating trauma and other symptoms by reconnecting the traumatized person in a safe and measured way, allowing the natural healing powers of the brain to move toward adaptive resolution. She also uses Motivational Interviewing to support movement within the change process.

Shalom says: “My most rewarding and meaningful experiences have been working with vulnerable populations and observing how healing can truly happen through therapy and action plans”
